Policies

  • By Appointment Only To schedule a massage appointment, simply book online.

  • Payment Methods A Credit Card is required to book all appointments. Accepted forms of payment include: VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and HSA/FSA credit cards.

  • Late Cancellations/No-Shows. Bravebird Bodywork has a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you need to change or cancel your appointment, you must notify us at least 24 hours in advance via the booking portal or email. Clients who no-show or late cancel (within 24 hours of your appointment) will be charged the full cost of the session. Last-minute cancellations cannot be refunded or used as credit. Late cancellations due to labor will be waived.

  • Running Late If you will be running a few minutes late for an appointment, please let notify me via email at: ereene@bravebirdbodywork.com

  • Please arrive no earlier 5 minutes before your start time.

  • Privacy Your privacy is important. Details of our work together are confidential, and I comply with HIPPA privacy standards.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQS)

  • “Can I get a refund for purchasing a gift card?” All gift card purchases or redeemed massage sessions are non-refundable.

  • Do I have to be pregnant to receive a massage at Bravebird Bodywork? Though I specialize in prenatal and postnatal massage and bodywork, my practice is dedicated to helping ALL women throughout the lifespan.

  • What should I do to get ready for my massage? Arrive about five minutes before your appointment time to start the relaxation process and discuss with your therapist any goals or intentions you have for the session. Eating something light and staying hydrated is recommended. Lastly, it is recommend to have cellphones on “Do not disturb,” if possible so that you can fully enjoy your session without interruption.

  • Will I be fully undressed? Typically, clients are not clothed while receiving bodywork but are draped with cozy linens. However, you can dress down to your comfort level. Proper draping techniques are always used so that clients feel comfortable, secure, and are able to fully enjoy their treatment without feeling exposed.

  • What activities can I engage in after my massage? Drink water, eat nourishing foods, and take it easy for the day if possible. You’ve just taken the time to pamper yourself and experience deep relaxation, Enjoy that feeling

  • Can I be massaged in the first trimester? Yes! it is safe to receive massage in all stages of pregnancy as long as your therapist is specifically trained to massage pregnant women.

  • I’m close to my due date. Is it safe to receive massage during this time? It is safe to receive massage throughout all stages of pregnancy. This means you can receive massage on your due date and even pass your due date. Massage is beneficial during early stages of the natural laboring process.
