Cleanliness and Disease Prevention at Bravebird Bodywork

  •  Disinfection of all high touch areas will take place before the first client session of the day and after each consecutive client session.

    • High touch areas include:

      • Entryway, kitchen area, and bathroom doorknobs, faucet handles, light switches and countertops

      • Treatment room doorknobs, light switches, massage table, pillows, bolsters, client chair, clothing hooks, wood flooring, cabinets, and countertops

    • Products used for disinfection are EPA-Registered Disinfectants that are effective against COVID-19.

  • Linen Management

    • Fresh linens are provided for each and every client

    • After each client, soiled linens are immediately removed from the massage table and are safely stored in a sealed container away from the treatment area.

    • I decontaminate my hands after handling soiled linens and before re-dressing the massage table.

    • Linens are machine washed at the end of each workday using Lysol Laundry Sanitizer (777-128) as a pre-treatment, and then washed with hot water and laundry detergent.

  • Therapist Hygiene

    1. I have been fully vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine and have received my first booster.

    2. I wash my hands and arms according to CDC guidelines before and after each client session.

    3. Hand sanitizer is used within the treatment room directly before the massage starts and directly after the massage is completed. Hand sanitizer is also be used directly after handling anything that is potentially contaminated.

    4. I wear KN95 or surgical masks for the entirety of the session.

    5. If I feel ill in any way, clients with upcoming appointments will be notified to reschedule their appointment.
